Ristorante M’ama! is an opportunity to enjoy an unforgettable experience: an exclusive, romantic dinner for couples or a peaceful, pleasurable meal with friends and family. The backdrop – exciting, atmospheric scenery – will render it a unique moment.
Ristorante M’ama! offers cuisine with a reverence for produce and its producers, and is based on careful research into fresh, seasonal ingredients sourced directly from Campania’s many artisans of taste.
The wine list offers a wide range of international labels, but has a special emphasis on those from the Amalfi Coast, which has become famous for its quality wine production.WHY OUR RESTAURANT IS CALLED M'AMA!
A wonderful start to the day with a generous, buffet breakfast, a light midday lunch and an enchanting sunset dinner.
Carefully selected ingredients from the very best of local production to support the area’s farmers and protect biodiversity
A wine cellar that is home to the finest wines of the Amalfi Coast, together with labels from all over the world. There is also a special focus on craft beers and spirits.
The story of Ristorante M’ama! begins a long time ago and is rooted in a tradition that runs through the veins and heart of Suela and Andrea. It is a story that belongs to the Beach Bar in Positano, where Suela’s parents welcomed famous personalities like Totò, Peppino di Capri and Rudolf Nureyev to the prestigious Hostaria da Bacco, opened in the 1930s by Andrea’s great-grandparents, and to his brother’s restaurant, which exported great Mediterranean cuisine to New York City.
Every ingredient used in dishes at Ristorante M’ama! meets strict criteria of quality and attention to biodiversity, which is one of our local area’s real strong points. Stand-out products include Fagioli di Controne, beans from Controne, Cilento, grown by Michele Ferrante, Colatura di Alici, anchovy sauce from Cetara, produced by Gennaro Marciante and Pomodorini del Piennolo, grape tomatoes packaged in glass jars by “I sapori di Corbara”. We support farmers and real people, who work the land in the same way as in the past, to obtain unique products and protect them from extinction.
Each menu reflects the seasons, as this is the only way to bring the real flavour and nutritional value of their ingredients to the table. Fish, meat, vegetables, citrus fruits, PDO olive oil, cheese and typical cured meats make the cuisine at Ristorante M’ama! unique. A triumph of aromas, tastes and flavours, including gluten-free dishes, to savour between the blue sea and azure sky.
